Founder/Owner/Instructor Tom began dancing as a child and later trained in college and New York city. Tom has been teaching and has owned and operated several successful dance studios across the United States for over 25 years. In 1995 he opened Dance North County to bring the highest caliber of dance and instruction currently available to the San Diego area. Tom obtained his initial degrees in the American style Smooth and Rhythm dances. He later trained under United States and World Champions to accomplish the International style Ballroom and Latin dances and competed professionally for fifteen years in that division. Tom now focuses primarily on teaching Authentic Argentine Tango, Salsa and the many forms of Swing, Lindy and Jitterbug.
